Georgetown Police are pleased to share a few of the department’s accomplishments from the past year.
Through the support of the town, the community, and grant funding, Georgetown Police were able to update equipment, hire new personnel, implement new programs, and more.
Georgetown Police is committed to the safety and security of the community and its neighbors. These accomplishments are a testament to the dedication each officer makes when they put on a uniform. The department strives to uphold the quality of services and policing standards to make Georgetown a safe place to live and work.
“I am proud of my officers for their dedication to our town,” said Chief Sedgiwck. “I would also like to thank our community partners, neighbors, residents, and the town for their support throughout 2024. I look forward to seeing what we accomplish next as a department and as a community.”
