The Georgetown Police Department is looking for a dedicated Public Safety Dispatcher to join our team! If you’re an experienced dispatcher seeking a meaningful role in a community-focused department, with strong mentorship and opportunities for professional growth, we want to hear from you!
🔹 What You’ll Do:
- Answer both emergency and non-emergency calls for service within Georgetown.
- Dispatch police, fire, EMS, and other agencies, ensuring swift and accurate communication.
- Utilize specialized dispatch systems to ensure timely responses to calls.
🔹 What We’re Looking For:
- APCO EMD, NG911, and CJIS certifications (preferred).
- Familiarity with IMC CAD is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
🔹 Anticipated Shift Schedule:
- 2-evening / 2-day split rotation, offering balance and regular time off.
