GEORGETOWN — Police Chief David Sedgwick is pleased to share that Georgetown Police have launched a new website.
The new site https://georgetownmapd.com/ features a modern and user-friendly design that helps users easily navigate the site.
The site highlights various resources offered by the department including car seat installations, medication disposal, safety zone, and information about the Georgetown Substance Addiction Prevention Partnership, an initiative that helps those struggling with substance misuse.
Users can also learn about the divisions within the department including the School Resource Officer, Mental Health Clinician, and the Motorcycle Unit.
Residents and users can stay up-to-date with recent department news by subscribing to the new site via email, along with following Georgetown Police on Facebook.
“We are excited to share the launch of our new website, which will make the user experience much more seamless for our residents,” said Chief Sedgwick. “This website allows us to better communicate with our residents and community members in a more effective way. I encourage everyone to explore the new site and learn about our department, and what we offer to our residents.”
The new website was created and designed by John Guilfoil Public Relations.
