Today Georgetown Middle High School Juniors and Seniors participated in a mock drunk driving presentation as they have prom this week. Members of the Georgetown Police Department, Georgetown Fire Department, and Conte-Giamberadino Funeral Home also assisted in the presentation.
This presentation simulated a fatal car accident as a result of drunk driving. SRO Ford worked alongside Kerry Lee of the GMHS Drama Club who facilitated theater students who played the roles of victims. Members of the Georgetown Police Department also educated students after the presentation. Students were lectured on what could happen if they get behind the wheel after drinking.
