On Monday, Georgetown Police were notified that a 26-year-old man had violated a restraining order. While officers were responding to the home, the individual fled the scene.
Georgetown Police, with assistance from Groveland, Haverhill, Amesbury, Environmental Police, and Massachusetts State Police, located the man in the area of North Street and took him into custody without incident.
The Massachusetts State Police Air Wing also responded to assist.
There is no ongoing threat to the public.
